Where I buy good quality seed, egg food, color food and medicines to keep my birds in top condition?

Here are the suppliers I  use :

  • Super Canary Seed Diet – the Seed Factor, Ceres CA  http://www.seedfactory.com/
    • I use their Super Canary diet mix. It’s light on Canola so I supplement additional straight canola to the mix.  I also feed straight nyger and  hemp.  All these seeds can be acquired from distributors in your local area. For me I trust Robert at Heyme Hay and Feed in Lancaster to buy direct from the Seed Factory. Typically I go thru 40 lbs per month for about my birds.
  • Egg Food
    • I have used various eggs food supplements and dry mixes over the years. Each supplier vendor always seems to change their recipes every few years.  I like to use cooked quinoa and mix equal parts of cooked quinoa to either Petamine or Quicko egg food.   Petamine is distributed from the Seed Factory and Quicko  can had via Amazon. 
    • At the 2018 NCBS Show the Orlux distributor was showing off the Gold Patee Egg Food Mix. This appears to be a great egg product.
    • You can also  make your own Egg Food using Jiffy Corn Bred mix, with whole hemp added.
    • Or you can just hard boil eggs, then mash them and add straight Petamine or Quicko.
